Key Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures following protocols established by our Radiologists.
• Providing attentive care to patients throughout their examination, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
• Producing high-quality radiographs and maintaining consistent attention to detail in imaging, ensuring that images are optimal for diagnostic interpretation.
• Operating a range of diagnostic equipment, including c-arms, portable units, and routine x-ray machines, while selecting appropriate technical factors for each examination.
• Developing radiographic films, digitizing images, and maintaining comprehensive records of all examinations conducted.
• Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self during imaging procedures.
• Engaging in continuous education to enhance professional development and effectiveness in the role.
• Collaborating with the Lead Technologist to address any operational challenges and contribute to the overall morale and efficiency of the Radiology team.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant radiology experience.
• Current certification as a Radiographer (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) within 90 days of employment.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent mathematical skills and familiarity with concepts of algebra.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced imaging techniques and technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate documentation and patient data management.
• Knowledge of patient handling and safety protocols specific to pediatric care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide an attractive benefits package that includes:
