Work Environment

As a Radiologic Technologist in our surgical center, you will work onsite in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our facility is equipped with the latest imaging technology, allowing you to apply your expertise in various diagnostic procedures. You will typically work Monday through Friday with evening shifts, alongside occasional weekend and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute general diagnostic imaging techniques, adhering strictly to protocols established by our radiologists.
• Maintain constant attention to your assigned patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during examinations.
• Produce high-quality radiographs that meet the criteria for diagnostic interpretation, assisting in the accurate assessment of medical conditions.
• Select appropriate technical factors and operate diagnostic equipment, including c-arms and portable machines, ensuring optimal settings for every exam.
• Complete imaging exams efficiently within designated productivity standards, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality care.
• Exercise proficiency in identifying, developing, and digitizing patient films, maintaining quality control standards.
• Accurately document patient identification and demographics on films to ensure proper records and compliance.
• Adhere to safety standards for radiation protection to safeguard yourself, patients, and colleagues.
• Participate actively in our in-service training programs, contributing to continuous staff development.
• Promote a culture of professionalism and ongoing education within the radiology team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Harbin Diagnostic Center, our primary focus is on children and adolescents requiring diagnostic imaging services. Your role will be pivotal in providing the gentle and supportive care necessary for young patients, ensuring they receive a positive experience during their medical procedures. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a radiology setting.
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
• Excellent mathematical skills and familiarity with algebra to assist in technical calculations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a pediatric environment.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies and software.
• Previous involvement in professional development activities or continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
