Work Environment

Our diagnostic imaging center operates onsite, providing a collaborative atmosphere that fosters teamwork and communication among healthcare professionals. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing various imaging modalities and will be supported with the latest industry technology and equipment, ensuring that you can perform your duties effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and mammographies, ensuring precision in each operation.
• Adjust, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment to guarantee accurate results, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Prepare patients for their imaging procedures, explaining the process in thorough detail while also ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
• Review images for technical quality and accuracy, determining the need for additional imaging as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to share insights on imaging results, enhancing diagnosis accuracy and treatment planning.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations and protecting patient confidentiality at all times.
• Stay current with advances in imaging technology, regularly attending workshops and training to further enhance your skill set.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population in the Port Saint Lucie area, ranging from children to seniors, each requiring unique considerations and attentiveness. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds will be essential in ensuring their comfort and understanding during imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Active state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• The ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and potentially high-stress environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong ability to maintain accurate clinical records.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with familiarity in multiple imaging modalities and advanced imaging techniques will be preferred. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be an advantage, allowing for seamless documentation and record-keeping.

Compensation and Benefits

Zynex Diagnostic Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, you will receive:
