Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and mammograms in accordance with established protocols.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure the delivery of high-quality images for accurate assessments.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the imaging process, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.
• Review and interpret images during and after scans to identify any abnormalities, ensuring timely communication with the radiology team.
• Document all procedures accurately within patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain strict patient confidentiality.
• Keep abreast of advancements in imaging technology and clinical practices to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Valid certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Nevada.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining precise records and imaging standards.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized imaging techniques or advanced modalities such as fluoroscopy or interventional radiology will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is also advantageous, as it facilitates efficient workflow and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
