Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and mammography, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment meticulously, checking for performance efficiency and quality to obtain accurate and high-resolution images crucial for diagnoses.
• Prepare patients for diverse imaging procedures, explaining processes, addressing concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety before, during, and after the imaging.
• Carefully review and interpret images, identifying any abnormalities and determining if additional imaging is necessary, while collaborating closely with physicians for effective diagnosis.
• Maintain precise patient records, engaging fully with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and complying with HIPAA regulations to preserve patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Stay updated with advancements in radiological technology, actively seeking out continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and improve the quality of care provided.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required.
• Active registration and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) are essential.
• Valid and current state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering annual earnings between USD 50,000 and 75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
