Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general diagnostic imaging techniques and examinations as per the protocols established by our skilled radiologists.
• Maintain vigilant attention to the needs of patients assigned for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Generate high-quality radiographs essential for accurate diagnostic interpretations by selecting appropriate technical factors and operating advanced imaging equipment such as C-arms, portable machines, and fluoroscopy devices.
• Complete imaging exams expeditiously while adhering to productivity guidelines, ensuring that each examination meets the desired standards for diagnostic clarity.
• Handle the identification, development, and digital processing of patient films, with a focus on maintaining comprehensive and organized exam records.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols, including the accurate identification of films with relevant patient demographics.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education initiatives to enhance professional knowledge and skills in radiologic practices.
• Promptly address any operational issues, referring unresolved concerns to the Lead Technologist, thereby contributing to an efficient workplace culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in radiology is required.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.
• Strong mathematical skills and a solid understanding of algebra are necessary for accurate technical assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a pediatric healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies and procedures will be considered an advantage.
