Greenstaff Medical US-Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Galveston, Texas.

The CT Technologist position is an experienced technologist who completes a variety of moderate to complex diagnostic CT procedures to include common and special exams of high difficulty. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of CT exams. The CT Technologist position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special CT procedures.
Start date: 8/3 or 8/17
Contract length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed hours: 36 - No guaranteed hours first 2 weeks of contract
Primary location: 301 University Blvd, Galveston, TX 77555
Shift Requirements: Mids; Tuesday-Friday, 11a-9:30p
Float Requirements: units alike skillset
Weekend requirements: Fridays
On call/Call Back: unknown, please discuss with hiring manager
EMR: EPIC
Special skills or experience needed:
• Must be able to perform CT in a high-volume environment as this is a Level 1 Trauma center.
Education & Experience:
• Associate of Applied Science
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• 1+ years of experience
Required certifications:
• American Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R)
• American Registry for Radiology Technologist (ARRT – CT)
• Texas Medical Board certification (MRT)
• BLS through American Heart Association
Equipment used:
• Siemens and GE scanners.
HCSS virtual traveler orientation and in-person Epic training:
• Monday, August 3rd - (virtual, Microsoft Teams presentation)
• Tuesday, August 4th - Radiant for Radiology Tech, in-person training at the Galveston campus
OR
• Monday, August 17th – (virtual, Microsoft Teams presentation)
• Tuesday, August 18th – Radiant for Radiology Tech, in-person training at the Galveston campus
Parking rate is $2.00 per hour or any part of an hour up to $14.00 maximum for the day. Payment should be made to the booth attendant upon exiting and can be made by cash, check, or credit card. During the times that an attendant is not on duty; payment will be made to the night machine upon exiting.
