Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite in a state-of-the-art hospital setting in Rochester, New York. Our facility is equipped with the latest radiographic technology, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines. Key Responsibilities

• Operate advanced radiographic machines, such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound equipment, to produce high-resolution images of patients’ anatomy following established protocols.
• Accurately position patients and equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality while minimizing discomfort and radiation exposure.
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols by utilizing protective gear like lead aprons and by following health regulations to safeguard both patients and staff.
• Recognize and address patient needs during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring they understand each step of the process.
• Review and process acquired images for quality control, ensuring that all diagnostic images meet the required standards before they are delivered to healthcare providers for analysis.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Radiologic Technologist at Evident Imaging & Diagnostics, you will interact with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals. Understanding the unique needs of each demographic helps us provide tailored care that enhances their comfort and safety during procedures. The position plays an essential role in assisting with diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions, emphasizing patient education throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited program.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in New York.
• Current CPR certification to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, performing diagnostic imaging using state-of-the-art radiographic equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical imaging software applications, including MediTech and other hospital support systems.
