Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for each patient, tailoring approaches based on individual needs and medical history.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly, maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to facilitate seamless care transitions and thorough patient education.
• Organize and direct patient care, ensuring optimal staff assignment to meet the needs of our most critically ill patients.
• Provide mentorship and unit orientation for new nursing staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Act as Charge Nurse as assigned, overseeing nursing activities and providing guidance to staff throughout shifts.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patients’ conditions, utilizing both clinical judgment and department policies to prioritize interventions.
• Facilitate patient participation in therapeutic milieu activities, contributing to overall encouragement of engagement and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will care for a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic illnesses, and rehabilitating after severe medical events. Understanding each patient's unique background, preferences, and medical history is vital for tailored care delivery and effective recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing institution.
• A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued in the State of California.
• Proficiency in the execution of clinical procedures and a strong understanding of nursing best practices, particularly within a skilled nursing context.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to efficiently address complex patient scenarios and improve care plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively to patients and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
