Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess individual needs to provide tailored care, advice, and support.
• Conduct thorough observations and interpretations of patients' symptoms, effectively communicating findings to physicians for timely interventions.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to develop and implement personalized care plans aimed at achieving the best health outcomes.
• Perform routine clinical procedures, such as measuring vital signs, administering injections, and documenting patient information accurately in health records.
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders, carefully monitoring for effectiveness and patient responses.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring facility hygiene standards are met—including equipment decontamination, surface sanitization, and preparation of patient care areas.
• Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, providing critical care and assistance as needed.
• Support surgical teams during procedures by preparing instruments and assisting with patient positioning and care.
• Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants, fostering their professional development and enhancing team collaboration.
• Contribute to a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families, recognizing the importance of emotional support in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an RN at Ocean Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation, you will predominantly care for elderly patients and those recovering from surgical procedures or serious illnesses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A valid nursing license in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
