Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Conducting comprehensive initial patient assessments to evaluate their medical needs and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop tailored care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team, ensuring compliance with care protocols and continuously monitoring their effectiveness.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patients' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical history to maintain accurate records for ongoing care.
• Providing education and resources to patients and their families regarding healthcare procedures, medication management, and disease progression, which are vital for informed decision-making.
• Assisting physicians during medical procedures and interventions, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for the patient.
• Actively responding to medical emergencies, utilizing your clinical training to provide immediate care and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough patient medical records, which are crucial for the continuity of care and communication among the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our hospice center caters primarily to terminally ill patients and their families, focusing on palliative care that enhances the quality of life during the final stages of illness. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess an active Registered Nurse licensure and be eligible to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $160,000, based on your experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive:
