At Shepherd Health Center, our patient population primarily consists of individuals facing terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the complex needs of these patients, including pain management, emotional support, and providing resources for family members navigating grief and loss. Your empathetic approach will significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of life during their final experiences.
While it is mandatory to hold a valid RN license and two years of nursing experience, those with prior experience in hospice care, a telemetry course certification, or additional certifications in pain management and palliative care will be given preference. Your ability to navigate complex emotional situations with patience and grace will distinguish you as a valuable team member.
