Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents' attending physicians, the Director of Nursing, and the Medical Director of the facility.
Monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel.
Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychological needs of the resident, in accordance with established and medical practices, and the requirements of the policies and procedures of this facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility.
Other duties as needed.
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans
Monitor resident status and communicate changes to physicians and nursing leadership
Supervise and support non-licensed nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
Assist in coordinating and adjusting treatment plans based on resident needs
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations and standards
Support a safe, organized, and efficient nursing unit during assigned shifts
Education and Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Licensure and registration by the PA Board of Nursing Examiners as a Registered Nurse required.
