Work Environment

As a Registered Nurse at Empire Assisted Living Facility, you will work onsite in a skilled nursing facility designed to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. You will enjoy a flexible schedule with no required on-call hours, weekends, or holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
• Record detailed medical histories, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and allied health professionals, to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, preventive healthcare, and lifestyle modifications.
• Continuously monitor patient responses to treatments and adapt care plans as necessary, documenting all changes effectively.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students to foster their professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse population of patients, including those requiring complex medical care, rehabilitation, and support for chronic conditions. The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses not only medical needs but also emotional and psychological support.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Current valid state license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Colorado.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Possession of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required within 60 days of hire.
• Exceptional work ethic with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and familiarity with medication administration systems.
• Exposure to interdisciplinary team-based care models is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 78,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
