Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, vascular, and obstetric imaging, observing strict protocols to ensure high levels of accuracy and diagnostic value.
• Prepare patients for procedures by clearly explaining the process and addressing any questions, providing essential emotional support during their visit.
• Monitor and calibrate ultrasound equipment, performing regular maintenance checks to guarantee the production of high-quality images.
• Analyze ultrasound images and provide preliminary interpretations to assist physicians in making informed decisions; identify any abnormalities that may require further investigation.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring timely patient diagnoses and formulation of treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of all patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including expectant mothers seeking obstetric ultrasounds, individuals undergoing routine wellness assessments, and patients with complex vascular conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification and registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification.
• State licensure to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing ultrasound imaging and utilizing plethysmography equipment.
• Ability to physically assist patients of varying weights and maneuver ultrasound equipment efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity for imaging and record-keeping tasks.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance regarding safety procedures and hazardous material handling in a clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a clinical setting as a Registered Vascular Technologist.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
