Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including vascular, abdominal, and obstetrical ultrasounds, ensuring precision and clarity in image capture.
• Prepare patients psychologically and physically for ultrasound procedures: explain the process clearly, address their concerns, and provide emotional support to enhance their comfort.
• Ensure the ultrasound equipment is functioning optimally, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments to generate high-quality images.
• Analyze ultrasound images, interpret results, and determine the need for additional diagnostic imaging or further evaluation in collaboration with the medical team.
• Document and maintain comprehensive patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices to enhance service delivery in our Imaging Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily care for a diverse population of patients ranging from obstetrical cases to those with vascular concerns, treating each individual with empathy and professionalism. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Vascular Technology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Certification and registration from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) are essential.
• A valid state license to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist, ensuring compliance with local healthcare regulations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, physicians, and fellow medical staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and a patient-centric attitude.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a Diagnostic Imaging Center or similar facility specializing in vascular ultrasound is highly desirable.
