PrecisionView Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our team full-time at our state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging Center in Canton, Ohio. This position offers a salary range of USD 55,000 – 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams, including but not limited to vascular, abdominal, and obstetric ultrasounds, with an emphasis on thoroughness and accuracy.
• Prepare patients for procedures by providing clear explanations, addressing concerns, and ensuring a comforting environment, while monitoring their emotional and physical needs.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and imaging equipment to ensure the production of high-quality images; troubleshoot as necessary to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Analyze ultrasound images and collaborate with physicians in interpreting findings; identify and report any abnormalities that may require further evaluation.
• Keep meticulous patient records, complying with strict HIPAA guidelines to ensure privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed about advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in patient care.
• Participate in quality control initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from expectant mothers undergoing routine obstetric scans to patients requiring vascular assessments and abdominal studies. You will engage with diverse patient demographics, ensuring that each individual feels respected and cared for. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families is essential to alleviating any anxieties they may have about the procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and/or a recognized program in Ultrasound.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is required.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• State licensure to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist in Ohio.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting patients and standing for long periods.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity for operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, including the safe handling of materials and adherence to safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with protocols regarding blood-borne pathogen exposures.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting performing a range of ultrasound procedures, particularly vascular and obstetric scans.
• Experience in managing patient interactions sensitively and professionally, establishing rapport quickly.
