Work Environment

The Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist position is based onsite at our Diagnostic Imaging Center in Vancouver, Washington. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid certification and registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) are mandatory.
• State licensure to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist, ensuring compliance with state regulations and safety protocols.
• Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and familiar with plethysmography techniques.
• Strong physical capability to assist patients of various weights and handle equipment efficiently, with the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

• Thorough understanding of blood-borne pathogen regulations and OSHA standards, with adherence to personal protective practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of practical experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in ultrasound or vascular imaging.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department with an emphasis on patient care and safety.
