Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, vascular, and obstetric ultrasounds, while ensuring precision and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining ultrasound processes clearly, addressing their concerns, and providing emotional and physical support throughout the diagnostic experience.
• Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment, making necessary adjustments to guarantee that high-quality diagnostic images are produced consistently.
• Analyze obtained ultrasound images, accurately interpreting findings to determine the need for further imaging or additional medical evaluations, particularly for identifying potential health abnormalities.
• Engage in close collaboration with physicians and medical staff to ensure swift and precise treatment plans are derived from diagnostic findings.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging techniques to continuously enhance service delivery and patient care outcomes.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals of all ages who present with a range of medical conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• State licensure to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist in Massachusetts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
• Adeptness in managing high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and a composed demeanor.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
