Work Environment

This is an onsite position within our Diagnostic Imaging Center, where ultrasound technologists work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians. Our facility is equipped with the latest ultrasound technology, allowing you to enhance your skills while ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Operate advanced ultrasound machines to accurately capture real-time images of patients’ anatomical structures, utilizing a variety of transducers to achieve optimal views and angles.
• Skillfully manipulate the ultrasound transducer across patients’ bodies to visualize organs, blood vessels, and tissues, ensuring high-quality images necessary for diagnosis.
• Evaluate real-time images for diagnostic quality, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to confirm assessable findings that direct patient management plans.
• Maintain rigorous adherence to safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety measures, to protect both patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active registration and certification as a Vascular Technologist from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• State licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist, adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations.
• Physical ability to assist and reposition patients of varying weights, along with the capability to operate and manipulate specialized ultrasound equipment efficiently.
• Exemplary attention to detail and excellent critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and accuracy in imaging.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience as a registered vascular ultrasound technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Familiarity with current imaging software and health record systems relevant to ultrasound technology.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
