Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric care is sought for a healthcare facility in Seattle, Washington. This position involves providing critical respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients within a dynamic clinical environment. The role requires independent airway management and ventilator therapy, supporting patient stability and recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS; valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Washington state; at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, including NICU experience; experience with aerosol setup devices, ventilator management, and airway procedures; ability to independently intubate neonates; proficiency in ABG interpretation and basic EKG skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pulmonary function testing labs and adult critical care, emergency department, or pediatric intensive care units.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves managing ventilators such as Draeger and Servo I, performing high-risk airway procedures, responding to high-pressure alarms, and assisting in high-risk deliveries. Candidates must be able to perform complex airway management independently, including neonate intubation. The assignment begins on 08/03/2026.
