Job description:
Our goal is to help our patients close the gap between life expectancy and quality health expectancy by incorporating the science of healthy living into primary care and internal and preventive medicine. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker ensures compliance with established policies and procedures of the overall program and timely completion of respective reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Providing temperament counseling for parents
- Conducting developmental evaluations of children
- Providing accurate and timely documentation of provided services.
- Leading parent support groups and providing therapeutic environments
- Providing parent training of children with mental health needs, parents with complex issues around parenting and adoption of prenatally substance exposed children
- Leading parent support groups and providing therapeutic environments
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program
- A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting at least one of which must have been in a mental health setting.
- Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW), active and unrestricted
- Background in parent-child intervention
- Knowledge of normal child development, parenting, and child abuse/neglect
- Clinical work experience in a social service or healthcare setting (case management or social worker)
