Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions to inform effective treatment strategies.
• Provide individualized therapeutic sessions through various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy, tailored to address specific client needs.
• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients, maintaining a progress tracking system to adapt treatment plans as necessary throughout the therapy process.
• Offer teletherapy sessions to enhance accessibility for clients who may have mobility issues or prefer virtual consultations, ensuring continuous care.
• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously, maintaining compliance with state regulations and ethical practices.
• Participate in regular team meetings for peer consultation and case discussions to foster a learning environment and enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves students and their families, addressing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our focus is on a school setting, where you will work in partnership with educational stakeholders to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages academic and personal success for all students. Your role will be crucial in identifying signs of mental distress early and offering timely interventions.

Qualifications

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to develop trust and rapport with clients.
• A compassionate and empathetic demeanor, enabling you to connect meaningfully with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and appointments effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and compliance with digital practice regulations.
• Continued education in emerging therapeutic practices and models.
