Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services tailored to students experiencing anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health issues.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, observing students’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to inform treatment planning.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices while ensuring cultural sensitivity to meet diverse needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, school psychologists, and primary care physicians to foster a coordinated and holistic approach to care.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, utilizing electronic health records (EHRs) to maintain up-to-date treatment notes and coordinate care efficiently.
• Educate students and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their mental health journey.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times, ensuring informed consent is obtained from all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will focus primarily on school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom may face challenges such as academic stress, social pressures, and family dynamics that impact their mental health. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
