Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental, emotional, and social needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide ongoing therapy and interventions, utilizing frameworks founded on best practices in clinical social work.
• Document and track client progress meticulously in accordance with the standards of care, ensuring continuity and quality of services.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including addiction counselors, psychologists, and psychiatric staff, to coordinate client care and ensure an integrated approach.
• Engage in regular team meetings and training sessions, contributing your insights and experience to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients in a detoxification setting, many of whom may struggle with co-occurring disorders. Ideal candidates will be adept at understanding the complexities of addiction and its impact on mental health, enabling you to provide empathetic and informed care. The goal is to empower clients towards sustained recovery and mental well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred for an enhanced understanding of complex client needs.
• Exceptional assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills are essential for success in this role.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal relationship building.
• Capability to work independently while also being an active participant in team-oriented care.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly individuals with histories of substance abuse, trauma, and complex mental health issues.
• Proven track record in providing innovative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Experience in a detox or rehabilitation environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
