Work Environment

This remote position allows the Licensed Clinical Social Worker to serve clients in diverse settings, blending office-based responsibilities with community engagement. As part of our community health clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide care tailored to individual needs. You will utilize telehealth technology and other digital tools to conduct sessions, ensuring continuity of care while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in direct clinical practice, conducting assessments, individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, integrating evidence-based practices to ensure effective interventions and support for clients' unique situations.
• Conduct clinically-relevant screenings and assessments, utilizing appropriate methodologies to establish treatment goals and benchmarks for progress.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, employing strategies to stabilize clients during periods of acute distress.
• Regularly participate in team meetings to share insights, best practices, and collective strategies to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment objectives, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with community resources and healthcare providers to ensure clients receive holistic care, connecting them to additional services as needed.

This role specifically targets clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, often exhibiting complex mental health needs. Many individuals served by Brookdale Counseling Center may face barriers to care, including financial constraints, stigma, or lack of access to resources. Your work will empower these clients by providing them with the necessary tools, support, and guidance to navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with underserved populations.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with integrated care models and familiarity with community health initiatives.
• Background in working with diverse populations and training in cultural competency.
• Training in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
