Solace of Life Counseling Services is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for our full-time position based in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide essential mental health services in a school setting, supporting students, families, and staff in addressing a variety of psychological and emotional needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position allows for remote work with the flexibility to reach students and families in a school environment. You will interact directly with students, teachers, and school administration, using telehealth services to provide therapy and support. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify emotional, behavioral, and social needs, ensuring that interventions are individualized and relevant.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, goals, and challenges.
• Facilitate individual, family, or group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help clients navigate their mental health journey.
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to create supportive strategies that enhance student wellness and foster positive behavioral outcomes.
• Document all client interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate records and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular professional development activities, team meetings, and supervision sessions to stay current with best practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds and with varying mental health needs, ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and trauma. You will also engage with their families, providing educational resources and support to empower them in their children's mental health journey. Your role is crucial in creating a safe space for students to express themselves and seek help without stigma.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably within educational environments.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other clinical modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and families.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a school environment or with adolescent populations is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with school-based healthcare systems and protocols, particularly in promoting mental health awareness and resources.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems for documentation and client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
