Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, you will engage in various therapeutic activities aimed at enhancing the mental health outcomes of your clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments of clients to identify mental health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices.
• Implementing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to align with each client’s unique needs and preferences.
• Maintaining detailed and timely clinical records that meet HIPAA requirements, ensuring a secure and accurate account of your interactions with clients.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participating in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing clinical efficacy and improving patient outcomes.
• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families, assisting them in understanding mental health issues and treatment options.
• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health care to incorporate contemporary methods into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals battling mental health challenges stemming from various life situations—ranging from substance use disorders to chronic mental illnesses. These cases may often demand a compassionate and tailored approach, leveraging your expertise to deliver impactful interventions that lead to sustainable recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services in a mental health or substance abuse context.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, emphasizing solution-focused approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
