Position Overview

Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our committed team. In this full-time remote position, you will provide essential therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges. Your role will involve managing a caseload of clients, offering psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation services to support them in achieving their personal and therapeutic goals.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from the comfort of your home while utilizing advanced telehealth technologies to connect with clients. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality behavioral health services. Our work schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring that you will not be required to work evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.
• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling, utilizing approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
• Monitor and manage a dynamic caseload of clients, ensuring timely follow-up and ongoing assessment to track progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other health professionals within our multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and provide holistic support for clients.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current trends and best practices in behavioral healthcare, contributing innovative ideas to enhance our service delivery.
• Conduct crisis interventions and referrals for clients in need of more intensive support, including those requiring inpatient care or specialized services.
• Facilitate the transition of clients into medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs when appropriate, supporting their journey toward recovery.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all mental health policies and procedures to ensure compliance and the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients grappling with a diverse range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Your clinical expertise will allow you to provide compassionate care and effective interventions tailored to each client's individual needs, fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A valid and active LCSW license is required, along with a Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical skills, particularly in individual and group therapy settings.
• Strong crisis intervention abilities and mature judgment in assessing the needs of clients in diverse situations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and compassionately, both orally and in writing.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems for processing patient data and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize client outcomes.
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competencies in social work practice.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in remote telehealth services and familiarity with behavioral health treatment strategies in a detox setting will be given priority. Additionally, knowledge of state and federal mental health regulations and programs will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
