Work Environment

This role is remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while still engaging directly with families and influencing child development from a distance. While you'll primarily work independently from home, collaboration via digital platforms with a multi-disciplinary team will remain a core component of your daily routine. You'll utilize telehealth tools to provide services, connect with families, and maintain open lines of communication with fellow professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children experiencing developmental delays or disabilities to inform individualized service planning.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with family needs and child development milestones.
• Monitor progress toward established goals, adjusting strategy in collaboration with families and team members to maintain a focus on the child's strengths and areas for growth.
• Provide direct support to families, equipping them with tools, resources, and educational information to bolster their child's development.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and natural learning environment strategies to facilitate effective interventions.
• Develop rapport with families, children, and team members, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment for all.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of care and ethics in every client interaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on early intervention with infants and toddlers, a critical period for cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and communicative development. You'll work with families facing unique challenges, supporting their efforts to foster healthy development in their children. The interactions will include hands-on teaching techniques adapted to each family's needs, demonstrating commitment to each child's early growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current LCSW licensure from the Department of Public Health.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required for home visits or community engagement.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, enabling you to handle case loads effectively.
• Strong communication capabilities, fostering positive interactions with families and professional peers.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in early intervention working with children and families.
• Demonstrated commitment to utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices in service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
