Work Environment

This position is based within a community health clinic but operates remotely, allowing for flexible engagement with clients. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across various healthcare disciplines while utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems designed to enhance service delivery and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients through both virtual and in-person settings, offering empathetic and effective therapy that addresses their specific mental health needs.
• Conduct holistic assessments to identify clients’ presenting problems and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs, employing evidence-based techniques to promote recovery.
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring alignment with the established goals for mental health improvement.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance service delivery and share insights on effective therapeutic approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring clients receive timely support in urgent situations.
• Implement safety measures and protocols to safeguard clients’ well-being within the working environment.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation, including assessments, treatment notes, and progress reports within the clinic’s electronic health records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine skills and keep abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in social work.
• Carry out on-call responsibilities during and after hours as assigned, ensuring continuous support for clients in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work primarily with an economically and culturally diverse patient demographic, many of whom face barriers to accessing mental healthcare. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with diverse populations and cultural competency to address varied client needs effectively.
• Proficient in using telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health or outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and recovery-oriented practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for continuous education and training.
