Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Remote for Detox Center

Position Overview

The Managing Life Mental Health Clinic is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to become an integral part of our remote detox center team in El Paso, Texas. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide vital mental health services to clients undergoing detoxification, focusing on their psychological well-being and recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients, taking into account their historical and presenting concerns, as well as any associated risk factors.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients tailored to their unique circumstances and recovery goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care to help clients navigate their mental health challenges during detox.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, coping mechanism development, and emotional stabilization in a structured recovery environment.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and referring clients to additional support as needed.
• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mental health conditions and available community resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations related to client care.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences to foster accountability, coordinated care, and continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals undergoing detoxification, often facing a myriad of challenges related to substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work closely with vulnerable populations, providing empathetic support and facilitating their path towards recovery through compassionate, individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health settings such as detox or rehabilitation facilities.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Competence in conducting mental health evaluations and formulating treatment plans based on clinical assessment.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, particularly in maintaining calm in stressful situations.
• The ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, establishing rapport and trust.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate tracking of client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in substance use treatment or detoxification services.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and their application in therapy.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary team collaboration and integrated care approaches is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
