Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to assigned clients, specifically those facing mental health challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to implement integrated care plans that address both academic and emotional wellbeing.
• Monitor ongoing treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the therapeutic approach.
• Assist in crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support to students in distress and developing strategies to handle future crises.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and contribute to service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and maintain up-to-date documentation of treatment processes and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning to remain informed about best practices in mental health support for school-aged populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents who may struggle with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. You'll be directly involved in creating a supportive environment that promotes students' growth, resilience, and educational success. By addressing their emotional needs, you help reduce barriers to learning and empower young individuals to thrive both academically and personally.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective interaction with clients, families, and schools.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations, respecting their unique traditions and perspectives.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining quality care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, with particular focus on working with children and adolescents preferred.
• Experience in a school environment is advantageous, as it enriches understanding of the educational context and the challenges faced by students.
• Familiarity with integrated care models, particularly in collaborations between healthcare providers and educational institutions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
