Key Responsibilities

Your role as an LCSW will involve a rewarding mix of responsibilities tailored to ensure the best care for our clients:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students and formulate detailed, actionable treatment plans, applying best practices and solution-focused methods.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while customizing your approach to fit the unique circumstances of each student.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in all patient interactions.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide cohesive care, participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Engage with students and their families by offering educational resources about mental health, ensuring they are well-informed about treatment options and available community support mechanisms.
• Keep abreast of emerging research and advancements in mental health practices to integrate current knowledge into your therapy sessions, thereby elevating patient care.
• Manage a full caseload of clients, diligently tracking progress toward treatment goals and adjusting interventions as necessary to foster sustained improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will primarily work with students of various age groups facing a wide array of mental health challenges. Your focus will be to create a safe and empathetic environment, helping these young individuals navigate their emotional and psychological difficulties, thereby enhancing their educational experience and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation to practice within the state of New Jersey, reflecting your commitment to clinical excellence.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on psychotherapy services in educational or similar settings.
• Proven expertise in solution-focused therapeutic techniques and interventions, demonstrating a solid foundation in effective client engagement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build trusting relationships with clients, their families, and your colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience in working within school systems or with adolescents is highly preferred, along with familiarity with educational policies and resources that support mental health initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
