Work Environment

This remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while maintaining a connection to a vibrant counseling team. While the work setting is primarily home-based, you will regularly participate in virtual team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to foster professional collaboration and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments to evaluate client needs and develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver engaging individual, group, and family counseling sessions, adapting techniques to best meet client needs and backgrounds.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, utilizing evidence-based measurements and assessments to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Engage in direct collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring an integrated approach to treatment.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Document and maintain precise client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring timely updates to treatment plans and progress notes.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health practices by participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Clients range in age and background, necessitating an empathetic and adaptable approach in therapy. The LCSW will play a significant role in empowering clients and fostering resilience, aiming for improved wellness and recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients across different demographics.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Ability to work independently with a self-motivated approach while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits
