Riverplace Health System is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our compassionate team within our Detox Center, based in Sacramento, California. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing professionals to provide crucial support to patients battling mental health conditions. This role is designed to be primarily remote, accommodating work-from-home flexibility while supporting the needs of our Detox Center patients. Regular virtual meetings with team members and collaboration with healthcare professionals are integral to our comprehensive approach to patient care. Our remote setting allows our LCSWs to reach a broader patient demographic, particularly those who may have difficulty accessing traditional in-person services.
The LCSW will work primarily with adults in the Detox Center, who face significant mental health challenges and often require comprehensive and compassionate care. This diverse patient population may include individuals experiencing substance use disorders in conjunction with psychological distress. The effective management of these overlapping issues is critical for the recovery process.
While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in substance use disorders, crisis intervention, and familiarity with community resources for mental health support. Additional training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities will also be an asset.
