Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health issues, covering areas like emotional well-being, social supports, and coping mechanisms.
• Utilize individualized evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, during individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans with specific, measurable goals, adjusting interventions as necessary based on clients' progress.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments, ensuring clients’ safety and well-being during critical moments.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering community and emotional support among clients.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring transparency and thoroughness in client records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents, as well as their families, addressing a diverse range of mental health conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. You will play an essential role in guiding these individuals toward resilience and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient clinical setting is required.
• Strong background in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment abilities are essential for building trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within school systems or with children and adolescents is highly desired.

• Training in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or trauma-focused cognitive therapy, is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
