Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be entrusted with providing psychotherapy services tailored to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify patient needs, and developing personalized treatment plans that meet evidence-based standards.
• Utilizing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities based on client preferences and situations.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation that aligns with HIPAA standards and facilitates effective patient care.
• Collaborating with other professionals to create integrated treatment strategies that address the comprehensive needs of patients.
• Taking part in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to ensure high standards of care and continuous professional growth.
• Offering education and guidance to patients and their families regarding mental health concerns, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Staying abreast of developments in the mental health field, incorporating new knowledge into practice to enhance patient outcomes.
• Managing a full caseload while working to achieve and monitor patient goals in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to ethical guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position is centered around providing care to individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders, as well as addressing concurrent mental health issues. You will engage with a diverse group of patients, each with unique backgrounds and needs, allowing you to make a significant difference in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, particularly focusing on providing psychotherapy.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration and patient interaction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
• A commitment to working as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or substance abuse treatment settings.
• Trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary treatment planning and execution within a mental health framework.
