Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients' psychosocial needs to craft personalized treatment plans that promote successful detoxification.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), working closely with clients and their families.
• Monitor and track client progress as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that all interventions are effective and that adjustments are made as necessary.
• Provide ongoing support and counseling to clients and their families, addressing any challenges that arise during the detox process to foster a supportive environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and confidentiality.
• Develop rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients, families, and team members to create a trusting and healing environment during challenging times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals undergoing detoxification, a critical phase in recovery from substance use disorders. You will work with a diverse group of clients, each bringing unique experiences and challenges. Your expertise will aid in navigating the complex emotional landscape that comes with addiction and recovery, ensuring that each individual feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required for this position.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for documenting assessments and communicating with clients and team members.
• In-depth knowledge of risk assessment techniques, crisis management strategies, and treatment modalities relevant to substance abuse.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting are highly preferred.
• Experience working with marginalized populations or understanding the complexities of socio-economic factors affecting recovery.
• Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are preferred to enhance accessibility for our diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits
