Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Social Worker, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs, identifying strengths and challenges that affect their behavior at school.
• Providing individualized, family, and group therapy sessions, tailoring your therapeutic approach to align with the cultural and social contexts of each client.
• Employing evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to promote healing and growth.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that articulate accessible goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators, healthcare professionals, and community partners to ensure holistic care that directly addresses the unique challenges faced by students.
• Offering crisis intervention services, which may include risk assessments, safety planning, and immediate, responsive actions tailored to client safety.
• Advocating vigorously for clients' rights while connecting them with community resources and providing comprehensive case management support.
• Participating actively in outreach and engagement initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce barriers to access within the school community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of students ranging in age from elementary to high school, addressing their mental health needs through culturally competent practices. Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Minnesota.
• A commitment to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of various cultural groups in a therapeutic context.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a deep sense of empathy and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
