Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Care Free Healthcare Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Comprehensive Assessments: Initiate the treatment process by performing detailed clinical assessments of individuals to understand their mental health challenges, preferences, and needs.
• Developing Tailored Treatment Plans: Based on assessments, you will create customized treatment plans utilizing solution-focused strategies, always keeping the best interests of the client at the forefront.
• Providing Psychotherapy: Deliver evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques as needed to cater to individual client circumstances.
• Maintaining Clinical Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical records that comply with HIPAA guidelines, reflecting ongoing treatment progress and communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social workers through regular consultations and collaborative meetings aimed at optimizing care for each patient.
• Ongoing Education and Support: Serve as an educational resource by informing clients and their families about mental health concerns and available community resources to foster their overall well-being.
• Engaging in Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in mental health practices, attending training sessions and utilizing new information to enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals, particularly students facing various mental health challenges. You will be in a unique position to influence the lives of young individuals and their families, supporting them in crisis management and promoting resilience through evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on mental health services.
• Proven skills in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans formulated from best practice guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with diverse client populations.
• A commitment to upholding principles of cultural competence, social justice, and ethical standards in social work practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual client engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with school-based mental health programs.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices.

Compensation and Benefits
