Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Directly engage with clients diagnosed with severe emotional disorders through structured individual and group therapy sessions, both virtually and in community settings.
• Conduct comprehensive yet succinct evaluations and screenings to ascertain client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans, ensuring seamless access to additional services required for client recovery.
• Facilitate productive communication between clients, their families, and healthcare providers, ensuring that all parties are aligned with the treatment goals and progress.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions and care plans in accordance with professional and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide focused prevention, intervention, and recovery services tailored to the unique needs of each client, emphasizing empowerment and self-determination.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to enhance your professional growth and improve overall team performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders. These individuals often come from diverse backgrounds, reflecting a broad spectrum of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic experiences. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be crucial in helping them navigate their journeys towards recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Current and active LCSW license in the state of Arizona.
• Proven experience working in behavioral health settings, particularly with vulnerable populations.
• Strong understanding of mental health treatment protocols and ethical guidelines.
• Proficient in using telehealth technology and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are regarded as advantageous:

• Experience working in detox or rehabilitation facilities.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Previous roles involving multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Demonstrable skills in crisis intervention and effective conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits

Prosper Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
