Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health concerns, strengths, and support systems.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, laying out specific goals and interventions tailored to each child's needs.
• Collaborate with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, to ensure comprehensive support and accommodations for students.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and support groups focused on topics relevant to the school community.
• Engage in crisis intervention, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating on safety planning when necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards, ensuring the accuracy of client records and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of students experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral concerns. By working directly within the school system, you will support diverse populations, encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and intervention techniques specific to children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly in school-based services.
• Familiarity with educational frameworks and resources that support mental health initiatives within schools.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
