Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough virtual psychosocial assessments, enabling you to identify client strengths, challenges, and mental health needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring that therapeutic approaches align with each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that engage clients and encourage personal growth.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, actively participating in case conferences to enhance client support and address holistic needs.
• Document all client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health records to maintain compliance and facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adolescents and families in a school setting, helping to address a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, and emotional disturbances. Your interventions will play a crucial role in aiding students to navigate their mental health struggles, thereby contributing to their academic success and overall development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation for clinical practice.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California, demonstrating compliance with state regulatory requirements.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, showcasing your ability to engage with a range of client demographics.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing strategic treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in school-based mental health settings or working directly with adolescents is highly desirable.
• Knowledge or certification in evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Background in trauma-informed care or experience working with clients who have experienced significant life stressors.
