Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure, confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals and groups, utilizing our advanced telehealth platform to facilitate discussions and therapeutic interventions.
• Perform thorough assessments to ascertain clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs, subsequently developing tailored treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress.
• Assist clients in navigating access to community resources, social services, and additional support systems that aid in their holistic care.
• Maintain precise electronic client records, documenting progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant information in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coherent and comprehensive care, actively participating in case discussions and treatment updates.
• Educate clients on strategies for coping, self-care, and effective communication to empower them to take charge of their mental health journey.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in teletherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients in a hospice care setting, addressing the emotional and psychosocial challenges faced by individuals nearing the end of life. You will foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families, providing empathetic support while facilitating conversations about grief, loss, and the emotional complexities associated with terminal illnesses.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas or a state where you are authorized to practice.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in mental health, particularly with a focus on hospice or end-of-life care, is preferred.
• Proficient with telehealth technologies and platforms, ensuring seamless delivery of virtual care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in establishing rapport with clients remotely.
• Dedication to maintaining ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing a caseload in a remote teletherapy environment.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client appointments, potentially across various time zones.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospice care or with terminally ill populations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service systems to aid clients effectively.
• A background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care approaches will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer:
