Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Advocate Mind Health, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health status of students, developing personalized treatment plans in alignment with best practices.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mental health concerns and promote emotional resilience.
• Documenting clinical sessions and maintaining accurate patient records while complying with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with school staff and additional mental health professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to each student's well-being.
• Engaging in ongoing case consultations and peer review meetings which contribute to professional development and the continuous improvement of care quality.
• Educating students and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community support resources.
• Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health practices, integrating this knowledge into your clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of students dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and trauma-related challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in a variety of solution-based therapeutic interventions and techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Compensation and Benefits
