Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients experiencing severe emotional distress and significant mental illness through therapeutic sessions both remotely and in community settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize the client’s needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care that addresses behavioral health needs in conjunction with other medical services.
• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate client conditions, followed by directing them to necessary follow-up evaluations when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and family counseling, providing a supportive environment for shared experiences and growth.
• Participate in crisis intervention initiatives, offering immediate support to clients in distress while ensuring referrals to acute care services when necessary.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, supervision, and participation in committees focusing on quality improvement and service efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary population served includes patients facing chronic illness and end-of-life challenges, alongside individuals experiencing mental health crises. Our successful candidate will possess a profound understanding of the psychosocial aspects of health and a heartfelt commitment to fostering resilience in communities often overlooked in traditional healthcare systems.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field; a Master’s in social work is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience providing therapy or counseling services.
• Strong understanding of clinical best practices and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000–100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
