Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, ensuring that all evaluations are comprehensive and insightful.
• Provide individualized psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
• Develop and continuously update culturally competent treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and backgrounds of each patient, engaging them in the treatment process.
• Monitor patient progress effectively by tracking treatment outcomes and adjusting plans based on feedback from patients and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families, providing essential information on mental health conditions and available community resources to aid in recovery.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to coordinate care for patients in the detox center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge in social welfare and mental health practices.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice in Virginia, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, with a preference for experience in addiction treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits
