Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Remote Detox Center

Position Overview

Randolph Behavioral Center is actively seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time remote position that allows you to provide essential mental health services to individuals in a detox setting. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Work Environment

This remote position allows for flexible work arrangements while still being part of a collaborative, supportive environment. Though primarily work-from-home, you will communicate regularly with other professionals in our detox center, ensuring that all aspects of care are addressed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, crafting individualized treatment plans based on best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families, addressing an array of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrists to create a coordinated care approach, ensuring comprehensive treatment and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, demonstrating your ability to perform under pressure and apply your clinical expertise effectively.
• Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma through educational initiatives, workshops, and collaboration with local organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with clients undergoing detoxification and those with a range of mental health challenges, including co-occurring disorders. Serving a diverse population with various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, you will have the opportunity to enhance your cultural competence and broaden your understanding of individual mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD.
• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and facilitating effective therapeutic relationships.
• Proven ability to work with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity in your approach to care.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and maintain precise documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment setting, particularly with clients facing substance use disorders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to implement them effectively in clinical settings.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to mental health care and substance abuse treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
