Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource by providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrated care plans, track client progress, and adjust treatment as needed.
• Conduct developmentally appropriate screenings and facilitate referrals for more extensive assessments when needed.
• Deliver a range of brief, evidence-based interventions aimed at prevention, treatment, and recovery for clients.
• Work closely with families and guardians to share information regarding client care and ensure alignment on treatment plans.
• Carry a caseload that includes individual, group, and family therapy sessions, maintaining a client-centered approach to support and empower clients.
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts, acting swiftly and effectively to address urgent client needs.
• Monitor and track client adherence to treatment plans and ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation.
• Provide on-call support during and after program hours as required to ensure ongoing care for clients.
• Engage in committees focused on improving service delivery and quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

This position will focus primarily on school-aged clients who require mental health support for severe emotional and psychological challenges. You will play an essential role in helping these students navigate their mental health issues, contributing to their academic success and overall well-being. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
• Active LICSW licensure in Massachusetts.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders, as well as proficiency in risk assessment and crisis management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Proven organizational and planning skills that enhance your ability to manage caseloads effectively.
• Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children and adolescents is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a school or community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
